A Tranquil Escape: My Time at Kabn Company 

Nestled amidst the breathtaking mountains of the Trossachs National Park lies a hidden gem – Kabn Company on Loch Fyne. My recent getaway to this idyllic retreat was nothing short of magical, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and immersion in nature’s splendor. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene surroundings of the loch and the awe-inspiring mountains that embraced it. The two eco cabins, nestled among the trees at the water’s edge, seamlessly blended into the landscape, offering a cozy sanctuary where I could unwind and rejuvenate. Owned by the delightful Charlie and Amber, Kabn Company exuded warmth and hospitality, even in their absence. Every detail of the cabin was meticulously curated, from the luxurious interior to the eco-friendly amenities. 

The wood structure imparted a sense of rustic charm, while the modern comforts ensured a truly indulgent stay. One of the highlights of my retreat was the traditional cooking experience in the wood-fired oven. While the gas hob offered convenience, I couldn’t resist the allure of cooking over an open flame. The first night, I savored a perfectly seared steak accompanied by asparagus, homemade chips, and a decadent peppercorn sauce, all paired with a delightful red wine. The following evening, I indulged in a succulent roast chicken, infused with BBQ spice and cooked to perfection in the wood oven. Served alongside a fresh rocket salad and roasted vegetables, it was a culinary delight that exceeded all expectations. In between indulgent meals and leisurely strolls along the loch, I embraced the invigorating chill of the water with a dip in the freezing cold loch. It was a refreshing experience that left me feeling energised and rejuvenated, a testament to the rejuvenating power of nature. 

 As my time at Kabn Company came to an end, I found myself already dreaming of my next adventure. The experience provided by Charlie and Amber was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving an indelible mark on my soul. I eagerly anticipate my next journey with Kabn Company, wherever it may lead.
